Main responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

Running reports and ordering merchandise for multiple stores

Creating Purchase Orders

Receiving merchandise and process in a timely manner to insure customer satisfaction/delivery dates

Logging and opening packages according to company procedure

Verifying, inspecting and identifying merchandise against vendor invoices

Creating detailed description of merchandise in point of sale system

Create merchandise tags

Photograph received merchandise for point of sale system

Work closely with Sales Professionals and Vendors to complete jewelry orders and/or returns

Reply to e-mail inquiries from staff and vendors

Assist with Company inventory as needed to include but not limited to counting, scanning, verifying,

Filing and maintaining merchandise intake information/paperwork

Essential Requirements:

Working computer knowledge and office equipment a must (Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Web Browsers)

Knowledge of a Jewelry point of sale system

Knowledge of USPS, FedEx, UPS and Malca Amit

Previous work experience in receiving, inventory and/or shipping function in a retail environment a must

Strong organizational skills, detail orientated

Ability to multitask and problem solve

Excellent communication skills internally and externally

Ability to keep up in a fast paced environment

Position may require vehicle to commute to various store locations within DuPage and Cook County

Position may require working evenings, weekends and holidays

Depending on functional area of assignment, the following physical requirements may apply:

Ability to lift a minimum of (50) pounds and at times heavier items up to (100) pounds. Balance for tasks, such as climbing, kneeling, bending, stooping and/or reaching for objects at or above floor level.
